Graduate Student Research Symposium 2011-2012

The Graduate Student Research Symposium sponsored by the Centre for Global Change Science will be held on November 29 and 30, 2012 at the George Ignatieff Theatre, at the University of Toronto:

On Thursday, November 29, the event will include:

- A poster session showcasing the work of CGCS graduate students (3:00PM-4:00PM);

- A lead lecture by Dr. Marika Holland (NCAR, Boulder, Colorado) at 4:00PM:

« Sea Ice predictability in a rapidly changing Arctic Environment »

On Friday, November 30, the event will run from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, and will include four presentation sessions for CGCS students, with main lectures by:

- Prof. Jill Johnstone (University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon)

- Prof. Sidney R. Hemming (Columbia University, New York City)

- Prof. Jochen Stutz (University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles)

- Prof. Stephen Dery (University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), Prince George)
