Graduate Student Award Seminars

CGCS Graduate Student Award Seminars

Short seminars will be given in an informal atmosphere by the CGCS Graduate Student Research Award winners.  All award winners will attend these talks, and the rest of the CGCS community is encouraged to attend as well.  The goal of the talks is to give the students an opportunity to discuss their research interests to a very diverse community, and to hear about the other exciting global change research occurring at UofT.

Talks begin at 5pm in room 2093 of the Geology Building (see PDF map, link below). Each day will host two talks of approximately 20min. each, with time for questions and a short break between. Students will either talk about their projects, research, results or some combinations thereof. There will be a cash bar serving cold beer and pop. After each session, snacks will be provided.
